What is My Most Trusted (MMT)?
My Most Trusted (MMT) is a LinkedIn Chrome extension that helps you grow your referral network by building a private list of trusted 1st-degree connections—people you genuinely know, like, and trust. The Grand Connection has partnered with MMT to offer our community a GC version of MMT where we can all access the full network.
Once set up, you can:
- See who your trusted connections trust (2nd-degree visibility) plus the full network if you have Premium.
- Request warm introductions
- Grow your network intentionally—aligned with your values and goals
Getting Started at a Glance:
- Get set up. Download Extension.
- Add your first 30 trusted connections
- Complete your Match-Me section (or use the GPT to help!)
- Explore your dashboard to track progress
- Begin requesting warm introductions
- Join the training to maximize your results:

Step 1: Install the Chrome Extension
- Go to the Grand Connection Chrome Extension page:
Download Extension - Click Add to Chrome and then Add Extension
Step 2: Pin the Extension for Easy Access
- Click the puzzle icon in the top-right corner of your browser
- Find GC Version of My Most Trusted in the list and click the pin icon so it stays visible
Step 3: Connect Your LinkedIn Profile
- Click the pinned MMT icon
- You’ll be prompted to visit your LinkedIn profile
- Confirm that it’s your profile by clicking “Yes, this is me”
Step 4: Start Adding Trusted Connections
Your first goal is to add 30 people you genuinely know and trust and feel comfortable making warm introductions.
- Visit the LinkedIn profile of a 1st-degree connection
- Click the MMT Plus (+) icon on their profile
- Add tags and personal notes (optional), then click “Yes, I trust this person”
- Repeat this process for your trusted circle—colleagues, clients, collaborators
TIP: The quickest way to do this is to a) go to the list of your connections on LinkedIn (here’s the direct link) and scroll through people you are already connected to and add them as your own trusted connection. Feel free to personalize the automated message and ask them to trust you back. Afterwards, b) start scrolling through the GC community in the referral app if you are a member and connect and trust people you already know.
This builds the foundation of your private network and powers future referrals.
Step 5: Fill Out the Match-Me Section
This section tells the system who you want to meet.
- Click the MMT icon and select the “Match-Me” icon (usually a handshake)
- Answer a few simple questions about your target audience or ideal referral partner

Step 6: Explore the Dashboard
Click the Home icon inside MMT to see:
- The size of your trusted and extended network
- Your referral and introduction history
- Your Trust-O-Meter level—a gamified way to track your connection-building progress
Activities like adding trusted connections, giving golden recommendations, and making intros will move you up levels from Newbie to Trusted Advocate.
Step 7 (Optional): Use the Mobile App
- Download My Most Trusted from your app store (iOS or Android)
- Open the MMT Chrome extension on your desktop
- Click the mobile icon to generate a QR code
- Scan it with your phone to link the mobile app
The app lets you stay connected on the go—even without opening LinkedIn.
Step 8 (Optional): Upgrade to Premium
Premium features include:
- Unlimited “Match Me” results
- Full referral and introduction history
- Advanced filters and search options
- Access to the mobile app
- Send weekly emails to your trusted connections directly through the app
- Bonus tools like ChatGPT integration and downloadable contacts
