Wow, there was so much value in this workshop presented by GC Member Steve Eriksen of Event Raptor. This was one of those workshops that everyone needs to re-watch again and again, as it held so many powerful concepts and implementation strategies to attract the right audience. Lead magnets are one of the most powerful tools to attract your best leads. Steve shared with us best practices, simple setups with a game plan to improve the conversions in attracting the right clients and turning them into paying customers. Feedback in the breakouts was invaluable! Our lead magnet workbook was useful for planning and preparation.
🌟Steve Eriksen Shared:
- The purpose of a lead magnet is to bring a prospect one step closer to taking your paid programs, and if they understand what you’re doing, the value you’re delivering and you delivering a lot of value inside of your program inside of your lead magnet. They’re going to go to the next step.
- There’s no point in attracting somebody who’s not your ideal audience.
- Building a list is really really key to that long term success. Think about what are the things that will attract the audience.
- If they trusted you with their money already, they will be trusting you in the future, and they will be buying more from you.
- You have to understand the pains and emotions, the challenges and problems, the goals and desires of your target audience.
- It’s not just about building your list. It’s about making them consume it, and then have that inside that realization, that transformation.
- Whatever you choose. you need to be purposeful.
🌟Helpful Tips:
- Ask yourself, what are you trying to sell?
- Who are you selling it to and what immediate, and easily fixable problem do they have?
- If you’re going for those 2 different niches rather than focus on one niche, it will make you work 3 times times as hard! Best to focus on one niche.
- You identify a small problem that causes emotional pain and that pain has to be the same for all your target audience. You solve that small problem. You describe the bigger pain yourself, and you tell them what to do next. If they want help.
- I created a lead magnet. It explains the what and the why, but not the how. In a giveaway, add part of the how to create more value. Teach your clients what they need to do. and why they need to do it, but not how.
- The people who are offering cheat cheats, roadmaps, and templates get more clicks.
- The 5 steps are: You need to have a lead magnet? You need to have a talk which drives people to the lead magnet. You need to have a follow up sequence so you can nurture them over time, deliver more value. You need to drive them to a calendar so they can book a meeting with you. And when they book that meeting you need to have an irresistible offer.
- You must think about – is this going to serve me? Is this going to drive my prospects for the next step to buy my product?
