Richard Kaye shared his decades of experience working with business owners by talking about how to get on radio, television and live stages and how to get invited back by providing value.

No one cares what you do. No one cares about anything that you do. They care about one thing – what’s in it for me. Remember this and always add value.

Here are some of the highlights:

• Marketing is the most essential part of doing business. If people don’t know you exist they don’t know your business can help them.
• PR is a way to market your business and an organic client attraction method.
• You must learn how to have a great resume.
• Joint ventures and networking opportunities like these are amazing. There are lots and lots of ways to collaborate.
• An audience is worthwhile if they can potentially refer you to the right ideal client.
• When you consider a stage, you need to consider whether that stage is going to provide you with an opportunity to at least get some contact information from these people.
