Membership Agreement

This membership agreement (“Membership Agreement”) explains the agreement between you and the Grand Connection ("GC").

By completing and submitting this form, you understand, agree, and attest to the following:

1. I support the mission of the Grand Connection to build an inclusive, diverse, and open community and to support the members of this community to connect, create and collaborate.
2. I will work to foster an inclusive community of respect, compassion and following the Principles of Grand Giving.
3. I am encouraged to join and participate in other networking groups and am not required to be a member exclusively of the Grand Connection.
4. I am aware that there are no attendance requirements and no need to find a sub; recordings are available in the Membership Hub; the Grand Connection respects my time and knows that I can participate in as many or as few events and marketing program as suits my schedule.
5. I realize this is a subscription. I can cancel my monthly or annual membership at any time through my membership dashboard and will not be billed for the subsequent renewal term. I realize that my annual membership is for a full year term.
6. Annual memberships offer a savings equivalent to two months' fees, with a portion of the proceeds donated to our charity. Due to this commitment, annual memberships are non-refundable. If you're uncertain about your long-term commitment, we recommend opting for a monthly membership instead. Please note that your subscription will automatically renew each year, so we encourage you to set a reminder if you do not wish to continue your membership.
7. I am responsible for my monthly and annual payments while I am a member. If there is a credit card issue, I will resolve this within 15 days.
8. If I cancel my membership and want to renew, it will be at the current rate. I am aware that when I sign up again the rate may be higher. I can upgrade at any time to an annual plan to save 2-3 months. The annual plan renews annually so please make note of your renewal date.
9. I assume full responsibility for any information that I post on the Grand Connection Site and any of its social media pages and warrant that any material posted will not infringe on the privacy, intellectual property, or publicity rights of any third party.
10. Grand Connection is not responsible for reviewing and monitoring any information published or distributed by its members through its site or social media.
11. Grand Connection may at any time remove any Member material that it deems in its sole discretion to be offensive, inappropriate or spamming.
12. Grand Connection is not responsible for any actions by any of its members towards each other. You are responsible for building relationships (Power Partners) and following up within the community. We expect all members to treat each other with respect and compassion.
13. Grand Connection role is to facilitate business connections. Any agreements and commitments between members is your own agreements. It is each Member's responsibility to do their due diligence in transacting business relationships.
14. The Grand Connection provides opportunities to access discounted services, such as Enhanced Zoom, as well as recommendations from members. Please be aware that any agreement or transaction related to these services or recommendations is directly between you and the third-party provider. The Grand Connection does not assume responsibility for any legal or contractual obligations arising from these agreements.
15. The membership portal includes many ways to communicate including direct messages and mentions which can be controlled by notifications settings. I acknowledge that email communication is sometimes required and consent to email communication from the Grand Connection and its members. The Grand Connections privacy policy can be found here. Even if I unsubscribe to regular emails, I realize that there may be other communications through the community, its Members. The Membership Hub, and the Grand Connection.
16. My membership may be terminated if I breach this Membership Agreement or my conduct is deemed detrimental to the Grand Connection mission or, if  by joining a meeting or group, adversely affects the dynamics of the group, or if my conduct at meetings or in 1:1 meetings afterwards receives complaints from fellow Members.
17. I understand and agree that I am not an agent of Grand Connection and that, regardless of my role within a group, I do not have authority to and will not enter into any agreement or contract on behalf of the Grand Connection.
18. Grand Connection reserves the right to change its membership program and terms of this agreement at any time effective immediately. Grand Connection will notify members of substantive changes via the contact information provided by each member.
19. I am here to invest in myself, my business and enjoy the grand journey along the way. 🙂

• I can become a referral partner and receive a referral reward link and earn choice of a free month membership or donate this amount to our Grand Giving Fundraiser.
• I am aware that referral fees are only paid out on members who remain a paying member for over 3 months and Member receiving payout must be a member in good standing. Referral fees are only applicable one time for each new member, and not for myself. Monthly add-ons are done quarterly. Payouts (your free month add on) are sent quarterly, or by request.
• I am aware that due to the limitation on "cookies" for tracking referral fees, the Grand Connection reserves the right to approve my referral and at GC discretion can also manually assign me a referral fee if my invited member did not use my link. If there is a conflict with more than one referrer, The GC will consider the earliest date of the referral tracking, or if no tracking proof of communication. Please be aware that many people know each other and invite the same people to our events.

Participation Requirements for Giveaway, Magazine, and Grand Talks

I am aware that participation is FREE for Grand Connection members. To qualify, members must either hold an annual membership or remain an active monthly member for at least 6 months due to the high marketing costs of these collaborative programs.
